James landrum’s guitar journey all started when…

I got my first comically oversized acoustic guitar out of my dad’s closet when I was 9. I took a group guitar class with the choir teacher at my elementary school and became obsessed, but I never thought guitar was a viable option for my life and career. Having an irrefutable passion, and several mentors who helped me, made music a part of my life every day. This kept me involved until eventually I decided I couldn’t do anything else. No one will ever come to my home without hearing a song and being offered a cup of pretentious coffee. My dog, Remus, will bark at you, but my other dog Juniper will beg you for treats, all to help make you more comfortable..

In addition to music, I have worked as a coffee roaster and youth pastor. I guarantee you I am reading no fewer than 5 different sci-fi novels, 6 if you count the one about space ducks I’m reading to my son Oliver and definitely isn’t making me cry.
